About Live Free Home Health Care
I remember when I was growing up; going into the local home town pharmacy, and the pharmacist knew everyone and actually spoke to the folks picking up their prescriptions.
Today we don't have that anymore; pharmacies have gone the way of the big box store, very impersonal, and you are lucky to get a friendly smile and a hello from the pharmacist. I also remember the local hardware store and market; it was just a different vibe than you get at Wal-Mart. That is what I appreciated about the two years I lived in Germany during high school, the existence of the small local stores and the friendliness of the shop keepers. It seems like outstanding customer service and an understanding that the only reason a business is in business is because of its customers has fallen by the wayside. Jennifer and I understand this, and we take pride in the fact that we are a local, family owned, home healthcare agency.
We are not a national franchise. On our Web site you see our faces along with those of our employees, not "stock photos". You call us with a problem, and we don't tell you our hands are tied because of "corporate policy". We will always listen, and we will always treat you like family and we expect our wonderful employees to do the same.

Jennifer L. Harvey, Owner and Co-Administrator
Jennifer is the Clinical Director, overseeing all aspects of clinical care. She hires and directs the training of all clinical staff as well as coordinates ongoing client care. Jennifer is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She grew up in southern Illinois, where she met and married Jason. As a new Registered Nurse, she worked on a medical/surgical and cardiac unit at Belleville Memorial Hospital which provided invaluable clinical experience. Upon moving to New Hampshire in December of 2000, Jennifer began working at Derryfield Medical Group, an internal medicine practice for the Elliot Hospital, where she further developed her clinical skills through triage calls and office nursing. Feeling a commitment to help the elderly age with dignity and help them to remain at home for as long as possible, Jennifer and Jason decided to start their own home health care agency. She feels strongly about the importance of having compassionate, capable, and energetic caregivers working with her to provide individualized and quality care to each of her clients.
It is now easy to call New Hampshire home; Jen loves the outdoors and the spirit of the people in NH. Jen enjoys all aspects of fitness and staying healthy, including a clean diet and regular exercise. She also enjoys kayaking, cycling, hiking, and snowshoeing with Jason and their 11 year old Cocker Spaniel, Jonesey. She loves to read almost anything, travel, and attend the theater whenever possible.

Jason is proud of his parents' service and feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience many different areas of the country and the world, including his last two years of high school in Wiesbaden, Germany. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Southern Illinois, where he met his future wife and business partner, Jennifer. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Jason took a job with Fidelity Investments, which brought Jason and Jennifer to New Hampshire where they fell in love with the beauty of the state and the independence of the people. Jason spent three years with Fidelity Investments, followed by a position with Fleet Financial Services. When Bank of America bought Fleet, Jason was promoted to Assistant Vice President with Global Wealth and Investment Management at Bank of America. After three years with Bank of America, Jason and Jennifer decided it was time to follow through on their dream of starting a business together, providing a needed service in the Lakes Region and Central New Hampshire. On a March weekend, while staying in Boston, Live Free Home Health Care was born. Five months later they were licensed and ready for business.
Jason is passionate about fitness and nutrition. He maintains a clean and healthy diet and weight trains at least four days a week. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, snowshoeing and traveling. He is also an avid reader, and enjoys attending the theater and the symphony with Jennifer.
